Previous Military Experience: Trained with the 2nd Kent Regiment
History After Enlistment: Enlisted with the Canadian Fusiliers but later transferred to the 48th Highlanders. Went overseas in March 1943 and later saw action in the Mediterranean Area. Was wounded in action July 13th, 1943.
Reported to be returning from oversea duty aboard the S.S. Nieuw Amsterdam, CDN 26/09/45. 27/09/45(P).
