He attended St. Alphonse School, Windsor and Assumption College. Married to Margaret Annie (nee Faubert) a daughter Margaret Anne age five years. Employed at Manufacture at Canadian Top & Body, living in Tilbury. Member 24th Kent Regt. and 14th FA CAMC. Attestation: 18/03/1916 at Tilbury, ON. to 91st transferring to 186th Bn.

Medical Exam – “ Fit”, 18/03/16 at Tilbury. Officers Declaration:  91st Bn. CEF 22/12/15  to  19/O1/16 ON COMM 23/12/1528/06/16 Transfer to 186th Bn. Paid by Ottawa to 30/04/17  to 31/05/16 – 22/03/17. “Attending school of Inet at London, ON. from 18/03/16 – 30/04/16

Joined 91st Bn., transferred to 186th Bn. O/S. Bn. 28/02/16. Posted to Camp Borden – Passed. Routine exam – Passed at Chatham, ON. 8/03/17: Medical Board “Fit”  

Casualties 22/03/17.     

After the war Thomas returned to his former employer and was secretary upon his retirement in 1947. The father of Margaret (Lambert) and sons Thomas C. Jr., Daniel, William Rockwood and Richard. He served as the Mayor of Tilbury.

Thomas passed away 26/06/1959 at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Chatham at the age of 70 years, after undergoing a surgery.
