Private E.E. O’Connor transferred from the 91st to the 186th Battalion, serving as officers’ groom until November 1916 when he had an accident with the horses followed by an operation in August causing unfitness for overseas service. April 1917 he was transferred to No.1 Special Service Company, London, and in August 1917 to No.2 Canadian Army Service Corps, Toronto.
