Pte. Leonard Norris left Chatham with the 186th Battalion March 22nd, 1917, after transferring from the 91st Battalion. He trained at Bramshott Camp until August 1917, when he proceeded to France transferring to the 18th Battalion. November 30th, 1917, he received gunshot wounds in the left foot.
