Raised in Wallaceburg, ON. Trained to be a nurse at Jackson, Michigan, graduating in 1908. Volunteered for overseas duty with the AEF. Contracted pneumonia and died at Camp Alexander, Louisiana, USA. DOD – 2/04/1918. Buried at Riverview Cemetery, Wallaceburg.  Found in “No Return Ticket” by A. Mann. Found on Trinity Methodist Church Roll of Honour. The only female fatality in the Great War from Kent County.
