Pte. John Naylor trained with the 33rd Battalion at London until December 5th, 1915, proceeding to Quebec for further training. He left for overseas March 17th, 1916, crossing to France May 16th, 1916, transferring to the 18th Battalion. He served continually with that unit through all engagements except Paschendale ( being out 2 weeks sick) until Feb 1919 when he was invalided from Germany to England where he remained until May 1919.
Discharged May 1919 due to demobilisation.
