The CDN 28/03/45 reported that he had returned to Canada in January of 1945. While overseas he had married in July of 1942 then serving in the RCA at an ack-ack battery in England.

His wife was reported in the 28th of March CDN “We had a good crossing and grand food. I don’t want to go back to England for a long time.” There were about 1,000 wives on the ship and 75% of them had babies she said “You can imagine the noise.”
