Major Percy K. Morley served as Lieutenant and was later promoted to Captain with the 24th Kent Regiment, Chatham, Ontario.
Major Percy K. Morley was appointed Major in the 91st Elgin County Battalion, but transferred to the 186th Kent County Battalion. He sailed on the “Lapland” from Halifax the latter part of March. 1917, training at Bramshott until July 13th, 1917, when he proceeded to France. Having repeatedly offered to revert, he, with 150 senior officers, joined an Imperial unit on reduced pay. He was seconded to 1st and attached to 3rd Canadian Division for 2 months, Area Commandant Neuville St Vaast,-District Commandant Verdrel-Fresinicourt and olhain and in June 1918 was transferred to 3rd Canadian Division and served with the division until Nov 2nd 1918 when he was recalled to Canada.
Discharged December 19th, 1918.
