The son of  Mrs. Mary Morasse of 1345 Dufferin Ave., Wallaceburg. Paul attended our Lady of Help Separate School and was employed at Schultz Die Casting Co.

He enlisted in 1941and trained to be a wireless air gunner. 

The Wallaceburg News 17/07/41 reported that Paul had received his notice to report to RCAF-St. Hubert, PQ., to begin his taking the “gunner-wireless operator course”. In November of 1941 he was stationed at RCAF-Guelph air-gunnery school when we was granted a week-end leave.

After his graduation he saw most of his service on coastal bomber patrols off the coast of NS and Nfld. The WN 24/08/44 reported that Warrant Officer had received his commission in the RCAF of Pilot Officer after more than two years service.

In April of 1945 he married Miss Doris Doiron of New Brunswick. The WN 19/07/45 reported that F/O. Morasse had been “Mentioned In Dispatches.
