Resident Mitchell's Bay, Dover Township, ON

The son of Mr. and Mrs. Orme Moore, of Mud Creek Club, Dover Twsp., Kent Co. His father was confined at Westminister Hospital in London.

Stationed at RCAF-St. Thomas. The WN 18/03/43 reported him visiting his family in Mitchell’s Bay while on leave.

The CDN 16/05/44 reported that a package from their son serving in Italy and who had mailed a parcel in September on 1943 had finally made it to his parents. Among the souvenirs included a cigarette lighter made from part of a propeller from a German plane, Italian coins, a box of talcum, German badges , pieces for parachute, almonds and a number of photographs.

At the time Robert was in charge of a workshop in Italy.

The CDN 8/07/44 reported Bob ws on a month’s furlough at his mother’s home.
