Private James Ormond Moore enlisted at Chatham Nov 22nd 1915 in 91st Battalion and later transferred to 186th Battalion. He trained in London, Camp Borden and Chatham before proceeding overseas March 1917. There he trained at Bramshott until Aug 1917. After training he was sent with a draft to France and joined 18th Battalion an remained there until November of that year when he contracted diphtheria and was sent to England. He received treatment in several hospitals finally being sent back to Canada Oct 1918.
Discharged at London Dec 11th 1918 medically unfit due to disease contracted while serving his King and Country in France.
