Resident Chatham

The son of Mr. and Mrs. Norman Moore of Chatham. He was married and resided at 54 Wilson Avenue, Chatham.

Gordon enlisted 7 January, 1942 as a ambulance driver in the RCAMC. He was reported to have arrived in England in the CDN 14/07/42(P). The Wallaceburg News (date unknown) was reported wounded in action 25 May 1944 while serving in Italy.

The CDN 18/10/45 reported he was returning to Canada. It was confirmed in the CFCO-KCFA that he had arrived in Halifax 25/10/45.

Gordon passed away 27 April, 1988.
