Eastern Air Command, Canada, Maritime Provinces and Quebec. Served as an Armourer, A-Group.  Charles transferred to the RCAF with a rank of LAC, R209704.   The CDN 27/12/43 reported LAC. Moon was stationed at RCAF-Scoudouc NB., was on a Christmas holiday unfortunately he was confined to the Chatham Military Hospital suffering from influenza. 

The CDN 5/07/44 that Charles was stationed at Scoudouc, NB., when he was on a furlough to see his wife and parents in Chatham, ON  

Date of Discharge: September 20th, 1945

Charles passed away 9 June, 2001 at the age of 82 years of age.
