Private Felix E. Monette went overseas with the 186th Battalion, crossing to France May 23rd, 1917, with a draft for the 18th Battalion. At Passchendaele, November 11th, he was gassed, resulting in a weakened heart and lung trouble, also causing fits.
Private Felix E. Monette received his discharge July 10th, 1918, being medically unfit for further military service, marked 17% disability with ten dollars a month pension.
