Born 27 April, 1918 at Chatham, ON.

James trained at #12 B.T.C., Chatham.  Joined the army and served in Barriefield and Witley, in England and Belgium while serving with the 5th Canadian Army Brigade, 1st Canadian Base Workshop.  He served in France, Belgium and Holland. Returned to Canada December 1945.

Discharged February 8th, 1946.

James passed 13 October, 1986.
