Born in Wallaceburg the son of Mr. and Mrs. Ben Millman. He attended Central School and Wallaceburg High School. After graduating he work with the M & P Stores and later on with the Ford Motor Co., in Windsor.
He trained in England and went to France shortly after the D-Day invasion in June 1944. The WN 14/12/44 reported that Sigmn. Millman was WIA, a shell fragment wound to his scalp, serving in Belgium.
