The CDN 22/03/43 reported that AC2 who was stationed at Montreal spent a weekend at his home.
The DT 29/04/43 reported that AC1 McVean, station at ECAF-Montreal was on a weekend Easter leave at his mother and sister. AC1 McVean now stationed at RCAF-Fingal was reported in DT 8/07/43 was home again on a weekend leave with his mother. The DT 5/08/43 reported AC1., Teddy NcVean was home in Dresden on a weekend leave. Ted and his sister Nancy and a friend from St. Catherines spent Christmas with their mother in Dresden. He spent a week-end with relatives in Dresden. CDN 14/10/43
Ted was reported being on leave from RCAF-Malton. CDN 8/02/44. The DT 2/03/44 reported Cpl. McVean then stationed at RCAF-Crumlin ws home visiting his mother. The DT 28/12/44 reported That Cpl. McVean was stationed at RCAF-Trenton was on holiday in town.
Reported returning to Canada from overseas duty aboard the troopship “Pasteur” expected to dock at Quebec City on the 22nd of September 1945. CDN 20/09/45. Reported returned from overseas duty CDN 23/09/45. Reported returned from overseas duty CDN 23/09/45. The DT 26/09/45 reported that Ted had arrived home on the weekend.
Discharged October 29th 1945.
John Trevor ‘Ted’ passed away 1 April, 1987.
