Flight Lieutenant McNeil was a graduate of Osgoode Hall, came to Dresden and opened law practice, and enlisted while living here. After discharged, he opened law practice in London, Ontario. He was attached to the Royal Air Force when he served in India and Ceylon as a radar Officer.

Discharged November 1945.
