The son of Mr and Mrs. William McNaughton of Book St., Wallaceburg, ON. He also had a sister living in Windsor, ON.  The WN 23/03/44 reported that John was serving on ‘active’ duty.

John had served overseas for two years when he was granted a leave to visit his family. WN 19/04/45.
