The son of Mr. and Mrs. Bruce McMillan of Whitebread. 

AC2 McMillan, stationed at RCAF-St. Thomas and had a weekend leave to visit his family. WN 3/09/42

 The WN 5/10/42 reported that he was presented a pen and pencil set from the community of Whitebread. While on the same leave from RCAF-Dunnville he spent time with his parents and many local friends and relatives.  In July of 1942 Bruce was stationed at RCAF No.1 Depot – Toronto,ON. WN 2/07/42 In August Bruce was at RCAF – St. Thomas and home on a weekend leave WN 13/08/42 “Whitebread”   Home to see parents CDN 24/09/42  Stationed at RCAF Dunnville he was on furlough to see his parents. CDN 7/11/42

The Wallaceburg News 24/12/42 reported that Bruce had left for RCAF-Galt to join the  RCAF.

 The WN 23/03/44 reported that LAC McMillan was serving on ‘active duty’.
