Pte. Archibald Hugh McLachlan went overseas with the 186th Battalion March 26th, 1917, and after a short training at Bramshott, proceeded to France, transferring to the 18th Battalion. November 9th, 1917, he received gunshot wounds in the head, and after Hospital treatment returned to the trenches.
