Pte. Wilfred A. McKenzie trained at London, Ontario, until October 1916, embarking then for England. He proceeded to France January 5th, 1917, serving as a Stretcher Bearer with the Army Service Corps. He was admitted to Hospital ant Boulogne May 4th, 1918, suffering from septic poisoning, which developed rheumatic fever; was transferred to England June 6th. for hospital treatment, and returned to duty November 13th, 1918.
