Sapper John A. McKay arrived at Liverpool May 28th, 1916, being at once given clerical duties at Divisional Signal Details, St. John Moore’s Plain, Shorncliffe. He was admitted to Hospital December 31st, 1917, his motor cycle having fallen on his leg, chipping the bone. He left Hospital February 11th, 1918, having then ten days leave to Ireland and Scotland.
