Jack enlisted in September of 1943 and served for ten months in Newfoundland. He was discharged from the Navy 4/03/1946.

After the war Jack worked for Bell Canada. He passed away 8/12/2013 in Chatham, ON. interment at Maple Leaf Cemetery, Chatham, CDN-Obit 10/12/13.
