Born 9/01/1924, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Bruce McFadden of R.R. #2 Tupperville, Kent Co. ON.  

Ernest enlisted in the army 22/09/1942 and served in Italy, France, Holland and Germany. The WN (date unknown) reported that he had been wounded in the wrist while serving in Italy. A letter to his parents reported that he had a broken wrist and a facial injury while in action on 22 August, 1944.

Discharged April 10th, 1946.

1980 it was reported that he was living at 551 Lafontaine St., Wallaceburg, ON.

Ernest passed away in 1980.
