The daughter of Mr. T. H. Maxwell of Wheatley. Mary had been training at RCAF St. Thomas when she was at home on a three week furlough before transferring to RCAF McLeod, Alberta. CDN 23/06/42.  Still stationed at RCAF McLeod in November of 1942 Marry was home spending a couple of weeks furlough with her father. Many social events were planned by her many friends in her honour. CDN 5/11/42 It was reported in the CDN 13/11/42 that Mary left for McLeod AB. To resume he duties at the Air Force Training Camp after her two weeks at home in Wheatley.
