Trained in Toronto, then sent to Yarmouth, Nova Scotia where he served two years. Transferred to Moncton, Nova Scotia in March 1945 and was discharged from there in November.

Stationed at RCAF Toronto Manning Pool. Tom was reported home on a Christmas furlough with his wife daughter Shirley Anne and family on Park Ave., Chatham, ON. CDN 26/12/42  He returned to Toronto on 29 Dec. CDN 30/12/42

Discharged November 1945.
