The WN 10/06/43 reported that Sub-Lieut. was on a week end leave at his parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. R. Martin’s home in Wallaceburg.  

The CDN 30/10/43(P) reported Sub-Lieut. Martin married Miss Marjorie Jean Brander of Halifax NS. The bride and groom are residents of Wallaceburg. 

In 1944 it was Sub-Lieut Martin and he was stationed in Halifax NS. when his wife travelled east to be with her husband. WN date unknown. Reported returned from overseas service attending a Wallaceburg Kinsmen ‘Welcome Home’ dinner CDN. 24/01/45.
