Unit # RCAF

Enlisted in the RCAF in 1943. He attended the the Merlin Continuation School and the Chatham Collegiate Institute.

The Merlin Standard 13/01/44 reported that Max had returned to Regina to resume his duties following a 28 – day leave spent at his home.

The Merlin Standard  (date unknown other than 1944) reported that LAC Marshall had been transferred from Tuft’s Cove NS. to Windsor, ON. He spent a couple of days in Merlin.  LAC Marshall of RCAF – Windsor had a weekend at home. The MS 1944(date unknown) of RCAF Windsor spent two weeks furlough at his home in Merlin.
