Born in Dresden, ON. 12/09/1918 the son of Sidney and Margaret Markham of Dresden, ON.  Brother of Robert.

Thomas enlisted 10/09/1940 as a AC2 but would be promoted to WO2 while serving in Moncton, NB. and Halifax, NS., he did not serve overseas.  The DT 8/05/41 reported Cpl. Markham then stationed at RCAF-Toronto was home for a visit with his parents.

In January of 1942 Thomas was stationed at RCAF-Toronto when he was home on a week-end leave DT 29/01/42. Thomas married Marion Masten Cooper the eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fred C. Cooper 7 September, 1942. The couple honeymooned in Detroit, Michigan. 

He was discharged from the RCAF in November 1945. In 1980 Thomas was living at 171 Holmes St., Willowdale, ON.
