Tilbury East Twsp., Kent Co., ON. Born 4/05/1924 the son of Richard Watson and Isabella Pratt.  Enlisted in June of 1943 in Windsor and began his training in Toronto.  Served in Yorkshire, England. 

William was discharged in June of 1945 at Mont Joli, Quebec. He married Dorothy (nee Lloyd) 16 October 1948 and they had five children Marilyn (Dowker), David, Daniel, Dale and Maureen (Whiting). 

William passed away 6 January, 2011 and is buried in Pardoville Union Cemetery, Kent Co., ON.
