Norman enlisted in August of 1942, trained at Camp Pettawawa, ON. after which he went overseas in March of 1943. Besides his parents he was survived by his six brothers Leo, Raymond, Earl, Morris, Lenard and Elmer in service in BC. also four sisters Mrs. Norman York of Detroit, Monica, Mildred and Marion.
