Henry enlisted in June of 1943 age 17 years, he trained in London, Listowel and Camp Ipperwash. It was reported that Henry had been home on a five day leave in late October of 1943 from Camp Ipperwash, as the guest of his mother and family He was wounded during the invasion of France, spending a month in hospital before returning to active service.
Age: 19, KIA – Date of Death: 08/04/1945, in Holland.
Besides his mother he left one sister Isabelle, and brothers Leo, Stanley and Donald. In Memorium:
