Son of Mr. and Mrs. Theodore Marchand of Tilbury.

Clarence was home for Easter in April 1941 from RCAF Picton to spend time with his parents. TT 17/04/41. In May of 1941 Clarence and his wife were in Tilbury to visit Clarence’s parents on a 14-day leave. TT 22/05/41. In July of 1941 Clarence received a weekend leave from his training at Picton, NS. In January of 1942 Clarence was training at RCAF Rockcliffe at Ottawa  and was married when he had a weekend furlough to visit his parents in Tilbury. TT 1/01/42 and in June. TT 4/06/42.

The 15/04/43 and CDN 21/04/43 reported  that Sgt. Marchand had returned to Rockcliffe after his furlough with his parents.
