TOS (Taken On Strength) in France with the 47th Battalion 2/06/18.
Reported wounded 28 September,1918, with a GSW to the Left Buttock. Alphie would have gone through a Regimental Aid Post and a Casualty Clearing station before arriveing at a military General Hospital on 28/09/18. From the he was transferred to General Military Hospital at Camins, Fr. 3/20/18. Then across the Channel to Pr. Patricia Convalescent Hospital at Bexhill, England 8/10/18 where he was discharged 1/11/18.
After clearing the medical stops he was sent to the Kimmel Camp in Wales awaiting transport to Canada
