James enlisted 29/10/ 42.  The CDN 04/1943 reported was on leave from Camp Ipperwash on a week-end leave. He was moving to London, ON to take a special course at the Vocational School.

James saw service in the United Kingdom, Central Mediterranean and NW Europe. Reported returning from overseas on board the S. S. “New Amsterdam” part of a contingent of RCR members. CDN 25/09/45.

Discharged November 1945.

James passed away 6/12/1990.
