The son of Harry Erie and Rita MacKeller of Selkirk St., Chatham, ON.

Trained at Brandon, Vancouver, Coal Harbour, British Columbia, Patricia Bay B.C. and Lachine Quebec in the Equipment Section.  Neil was stationed at RCAF Coal Harbour, BC. in January of 1944 when he was home on furlough to see his parents. CDN 8/01/44.

Still stationed on the west coast Neil was granted a furlough for a couple of weeks with his parents. CDN 10/07/44.

Discharged March 29th, 1946.

After the war he was employed at Western Equipment in Chatham. 

Neil passed away 20 May, 2000 Buried at Maple Leaf Cemetery, Chatham.
