The CDN 21/10/43 reported “Bill” was on a week-end furlough with Mrs. Lupton and their two young sons at their Grand Ave. home. The CDN 29/10/43 reported he had left for Regina where he would resume his duties. While on leave he had Lupton were in Windsor, ON. as guest of Mr. and Mrs. P.A. Pardon. 

Joseph would transfer from the Army to the RCAF. He was reported home on leave from RCAF Regina with his wife and children who were living on Grand Avenue West, Chatham, ON. CDN 21/01/44

LAC Lupton was reported returning to Prince Albert SK. after a furlough with his wife, children and his parents. CDN 5/04/44 In July of 1944 he was still at Prince Albert when granted a furlough to visit his family and his parents. CDN 13/07/44.

The CDN 22/09/44 reported that “Bill’ was stationed at RCAF-Toronto and had been on a few days furlough with his wife and two young sons at the home on Grand Ave., West.
