Private Luff was transferred from the 91st to the 186th battalion going overseas Mar. 26, 1917.
After training at Bramshott Camp he crossed to France in Aug. 1917 attached to the 18th battalion.
He was killed in action Nov. 11, 1917 at Passchendaele.
