Born 1919 the son of George and Rose (McIntyre). Next of kin reported as Mr. G. Lozon of 18 Alfred St., Chatham, ON. The brother of Leo, Herman, Eileen (Hoogendyke), June, Alfred, Theresa (Hogle) and Dorothy (Middleton). Husband of Irene (nee Bastien) and his father of George and Cindy. A brother Sgt. Stanley was serving with the First Kents but was honourably discharged in February of 1943 returning to civilian life.
Reported returning from overseas on board the S. S. “New Amsterdam” part of a contingent of RCR members. CDN 25/09/45.
After the war Garnet worked as a painter.
George passed away 26 October, 1988 at the age of 69 years, interment in St. Anthony’s Cemetery, Chatham. ON.
