The son of Pte. S. E. Lowrie [RCR] reported in the CDN 22/09/44 being in England since May of 1940. He had family living on King St., Chatham, ON. His brother Jack I. and father were serving in England.
He had family living on King St., Chatham, ON. Enlisted in the RCAF he was reported to be stationed at RCAF No.1 Manning Pool, Toronto when he had a three day leave to visit Detroit, Michigan with friends. CDN 17/08/42.
