Lewis was born in Harwich Twsp, Kent Co, ON. He was the son of Mr. and Mrs Osburn and Irene Livingston, of 94 Wood St., Chatham, Ontario. (Osborn worked for Libby’s in Chatham.) Lewis enlisted 8/08/1939 with the Kent Regiment in Chatham, ON. He was the brother of Carl, Donald, Freda and Lena. He was a carrier driver . KIA 26/02/45 in Germany and buried in Groesbeek Canadian War Cemetery.
He was reported as wounded in France in the Windsor Star 8 August, 1942. The CDN 31/07/44(P) reported that Pte. Livingston was wounded in France.
