Corporal Albert Little enlisted in 18th Batt. at Chatham Oct 1914 and proceeded overseas with them, he trained and served with that unit in France all the time.

The Bothwell Times of 13th Feb. 1919 reported that Albert along with Pte. Albert Patterson arrived home in Bothwell to “a rousing welcome by the reception committee and a large throng of relatives and friends. Both looked well considering the many months of hardship they have weathered in the trenches in defense of liberty”. Pte. Little was the only son of Mrs. George Campbell of  West Bothwell.

Discharged May 12th 1919 due to demobilization.
