The CDN 30/06/43 reported that AC2 Lister had a weekend leave with his wife and son Carl. They were then living on Poplar St., Chatham, ON.  The CDN 20/09/43 reported that AC2 Lister was on a two week leave before taken his departure for training at Victoriaville, PQ.

It was reported that Carl was promoted to Flying Officer while overseas, graduating from Crumlin in May of 1944.   LAC Lister was reported returning to RCAF Crumlin after a weekend in Chatham. CDN 18/01/44

LAC Lister was reported returning to RCAF Crumlin after a weekend in Chatham. CDN 18/01/44 It was reported that Carl was promoted to Flying Officer while overseas, graduating from Crumlin in May of 1944.  CDN 31/01/45. It was reported that he returned from overseas duty in January of 1946.

Trained at various stations throughout Canada and proceeded to England. Stationed there with a Bomber Command at Group Headquarters at Yorkshire, England, with the rank of Flying Officer.

Discharged February 1946.

F/O Lister passed away 21/11/01 reported in the Legion’s Magazine, in “Last Post”.
