LINDSAY, Wilfred O

 

 

Son of Albert and Myrtle (nee Pendelly) Lindsay of Dresden, ON.  The brother of Frank, Grant and Ron and sister Helen (Manning).  He enlisted in the Army  17/05/42 at the age of 18 years, serving in the Queens Own Rifles, serving in France and Germany and was discharged in November 1945. Wilfred’s first wife was Bessie Eileen Chesney (Alda V.)  Husband of Janet Marie (nee Poole) – Hornick. He was living in Dresden, ON. in 1980.  The father of Dana (Vandermursch), sons Dennis, David, Ralph and Richard. Step daughter Beverly (Brisco)

Wilfred passed away 4/11/1995. Buried at the Dresden Cemetery.
