Sent to Newfoundland August 28th, moved to Halifax, Nova Scotia November 3rd, 1942. Entered and remained there for three months. Returned and was hospitalized in Westminster hospital February 1943.

The DT 25/02/43 reported that William was stationed at Halifax, NS when he was given a weeks leave.

Discharged March 2nd, 1943.

William passed away 24 April, 1984.
