Allan was born April 20, 1924 in (Wabash) Dresden. The son of Mr. and Mrs. (nee Neeley) Rufus Law of Dresden, ON., the brother of Harold Winston, Lincoln & Welland Regt. Both of the Law brothers serving and younger brother Murray were delivery boys for the Chatham Daily News in Dresden. CDN 18/11/44. Their father was the Fire Chief in Dresden. Allan enlisted in July, 1943 and trained at the RCAF Manning Pool-Toronto and at RCAF-Guelph, he was twenty years old. The DT 30/12/43 reported AC2 was stationed at RCAF-Guelph was on a few days furlough at his parents home. AC2 Allan was home again in February, 1944 on leave from RCAF-Guelph on a two week furlough. CDN 9/02/44 CDN 9/02/44 & DT10/02/44 The DT 30/11/44 (P) reported that Allan and his brother were in active service in England.
Reported sailing on troopship “Pasteur” for Halifax expected to arrive 5 September, 1945. CDN 29/08/45. Reported returned from overseas duty CDN 7/09/45 The DN 5/09/45 reported that Allan had returned from overseas.
Wounded but not hospitalized.
Discharged October 10th, 1945.
Allan passed away 7/09/88.
