Wilfred was born on February 19, 1910 in Wallaceburg.  He was the son of Charles and Mary Larsh.  When he was five, his family moved to Windsor.  Wilfred went to Holy Names School.  After graduation, he worked at Walker Metal Products in Windsor. 

He enlisted in September 1940 and began the long wait until his death.

Wilfred was killed in Action August 19 1942 in Dieppe.
