Private Salle LaPrise transferred from the 91st to the 186th Battalion, and was promoted to Sergeant before going overseas March 26th, 1917. He crossed to France shortly after with a draft for the 18th Battalion. He received wounds July 13, 1917, receiving hospital treatment in England until October 18th, 1918, when he returned to France with the 18th Battalion.
