Son of Dr. C. B. Langford of Blenheim, ON. A student. Member of 22^nd Oxford Rifles. Attestation: 29/05/1916 at Chatham, ON. to  186^th Bn. transferred to 63^rd Batt. CFA. He would be promoted to the Major. He transferred to the Royal Flying Corps soon after reaching England. Reported to have been wounded but was making steady progress towards recovering from his injuries at the Canadian Convalescent Hospital in London, England. Lieut. Langford had been shot through the thigh while flying over the German lines.
